Carlsbad
IS THE EPICENTER!
The PGA Tour’s Tournaments of Champions
started things off when it came to La Costa
Resort and Spa in 1969 and featured winners
with names like Nicklaus, Watson and Woods
over the next three decades.
The name Arnold Palmer entered the scene
in 1991 with the opening of the only Arnold
Palmer-designed course in San Diego at the
The Crossings at Carlsbad
Four Seasons Resort Aviara. Soon the course
Four Seasons Resort Aviara
received No. 1 ratings from named publications
like Golf Digest, Condé Nast Traveler and
many others.
In 2007, Golf Magazine named The Crossings
at Carlsbad one of the best new courses in
the country, which also features priceless
ocean views.
Add in a few other names like Titleist, Cobra,
TaylorMade, Callaway and Ashworth – all of
which call Carlsbad home – and it’s easy to see
why Carlsbad is the epicenter of golf.
