Torrey Pines. The name itself stirs the imagination of golfers worldwide and is on most avid golfers “must play” list. Torrey Pines Golf course has long been known as the site of the PGA Tour Buick Invitational every February and now, as host to the 2008 US Open Championship won by Tiger Woods. Torrey Pines is one of only few “US Open” courses that is open to the public. The spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean, the coastal ravines and the famous Torrey Pine trees are worth the trip alone.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

From I- 5, exit Genesee Avenue (West), Genesee Avenue becomes North Torrey Pines Road. Look for Golf Course sign on the right after Science Park Way.

GOLF COURSE

Torrey Pines golf course features two spectacular courses. The world famous South course measures 7,227 yards, rated 76.1/139 slope from the blue tees. The sporty North course measures 6,874 yards, rated 72.1/129 slope from the blue tees. Both courses have multiple tee settings. Walking is permitted.
